Recent studies have demonstrated that the traditional 7-day course of metronidazole at a dosage of 200 mg. three times a day is not the only schedule effective in trichomoniasis (McClean, 1971; Csonka, 1971; Woodcock, 1972). It was decided to assess the efficacy of metronidazole 400 mg. four times a day for 2 days; this dosage would facilitate its administration with tetracycline 500 mg. four times a day,
